Alcohol Policy

The consumption and use of alcohol or recreational or illicit drugs is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety and welfare of family, riding friends and the individual H.O.G.® member.

Alcohol or recreational or illicit drugs consumed before or during motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Langley H.O.G.® does not allow the use of alcohol or recreational or illicit drugs before or during a riding event. Any member observed consuming alcohol or recreational or illicit drugs before a ride will not be allowed to join the ride.

Any rider consuming or observed consuming alcohol or using recreational or illicit drugs during a Langley H.O.G.® Chapter ride will be asked to leave the ride.

Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or recreational or illicit drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or recreational or illicit drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride.

Abuse of alcohol or recreational or illicit drugs resulting in safety issues or damage to the good standing of either Barnes Harley-Davidson or the Langley H.O.G. Chapter may be grounds for dismissal from membership in the Langley H.O.G.® Chapter.

It is the responsibility of each Langley H.O.G.® Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy.
